Is it my imagination, am I having memory failure?

When I used to click on somebody's name to send a message, after the message was submitted I am sure I used to be returned to the thread I was on when I clicked the name.
Now it doesn't do that, and when you return to the board you have to re-set if you have organised it so that you read last message first. Before it didn't alter. Why do they change these things?

When I click the back button, nothing happens. I have to go back to General Topics or Chat and start again.

Another thing that has happened lately to me,is that I have replied to a message and gone to submit and it has disappeared and I can't get it back!
