Just saw that Ray Allen ventriloquist has died.

He had the scarey Lord Charles puppet when I was a child back in the 70s.

very sad , as kids and teenagers we loved his act on the tele. we got our 12" tele in 1952 and from then on we watched whatever we could,
I guess though that time moves on.
