Interesting. The previous discussion was all about how the girl had "lied" and admitted it ... (not that everyone subscribed to that view, of course).

it used to be that that certain scenes werent on before 9pm.
Now they all seem to be hopping out and in bed at tea time lol

We were horrible parents...lol ours were not allowed to watch 'Neighbours', the majority of their school friends did. There were only 16 kids in the school so no doubt they got a blow by blow account during break.

I still don't regret monitoring their media input, they haven't turned out bad at all.

They grow up too quick. and see and hear too much on TV and videos.

Supercruch, I totally agree with you. These days, children are made to grow up far too soon Whatever happened to the innocence of childhood.

Whether this was, as their defence team maintained, a case of childrens' games going too far I haven't a clue TBH.

I just like to see children being children, playing appropriately, reading magazines that are suitable for their age, dressing as a child should dress (in my view), watching television programmes that entertain and educate not giving them the idea that growing up too soon is a good thing.

I may have old fashioned views but they are my views and I won't be persuaded otherwise.

Poor poor girl :0(

My thoughts are with her and her family.

I really hope she gets the help and strength she needs to bounce back from this...

The thought that this crime was commited by two so young makes my skin crawl I'm afraid.....I shan't say what I hope for them......

also just my humble opinion. x

Makes you wonder whats going on in their lives. They see far to much on TV these days.
I see it was attempted rape.

Shocking anyway.

of the attempted rape of an 8 year old girl.

Is this the case you were discussing on chat?

What a terrible reflection of today's society, just my opinion of course.
