Daff, rant away love.... it does help and hurts no one.
I do it myself.
My friend (who would NEVER say anything negative about anyone) and I have many a rant over a tea (her) and coffee (me).
But it is always our own people , we don't attack others.
Just do as we do, and consider each other as COUNCELLORS. !

Right... that is spelt wrongly, but my mind will not tell me what is wrong... you get the message though., don't you? please..... ;-0)

Aw Deanna, thank you... I am almost over my little tantrum now, lol..... but there are always people just like that, who seem to want to knock everyone they know into a dark hole, their dark hole, and can't seem to find anything pleasant to say about those who are doing their very best to provide, put a roof over head etc etc.... this is not someone I am directly involved with, thankfully, but I do know people who are.

This person, no matter what is done for them... and there seems to be a lot if you believe what they say,... it is never enough, the oh is damned if they do, they get it wrong, wrong colour, wrong chocolate, wrong paint... how stupid? If they don't get anything and won't make a choice... well, that is wrong too! They are being *slow, malicious, stupid, ignorant*.

I expect we all, or most of us, know someone like that.

My own son is at home, and it hasn't been easy... but he does have good points, lol.... he is not the person behind the thread title, by the way... he would never call anyone stupid, although he has taken advantage a little since he has been home. I have dealt very carefully with him as he has been very low and depressed due to his relationship breaking down in dreadful circumstances. But I have also been trying to recover myself, so there have been a few tense moments.

But nothing like this other person almost certainly creates!

Also, my lad is beginning to come around and cheer up.... about time too, after 8 months... but this other person seems to have spent a lifetime like it, and is now a pensioner.

Oh dear... I am still on a bit of a rant, aren't I??? wmsl... better go and get a shower, lol.....that'll cool me down a bit I expect ;¬))

Daff, but I agree.
Bless you, don't get upset it is just not worth it.
And just watch.... in 5 minutes time I may get upset! ;-0)

Yes, this evening... and he is usually exhausted after these so will hopefully be in bed early, lolol.....

I love him dearly, but not when he is wandering around at 3 and 4 in the morning... R needs his sleep as he has to go to work, bless him, otherwise it wouldn't be such a problem... but he is much quieter, and has stopped switching all the big lights on, so he does try not to disturb us.

Morning Daff, you get it off your chest girl!!! Is son due back today?

don't say anything at all!! That's what I was taught.

I know it isn't easy, and we all need some offloading once in a while, but I know someone who is CONSTANTLY criticising and belittling, and calls everyone they know stupid (which I hate, no one is stupid, a bit daft sometimes but stupid is such a cruel word, I think) even their partner and children, siblings, everyone! I get soooooo tired of hearing the nastiness and spitefulness of it all. I am sure that they are doing the same about me, as well, behind my back... not that their opinion of me bothers me one jot!

My opinion, if asked, would be... you can't stand the heat, get out of the darned kitchen... you don't HAVE to be where you are, you have other choices, but would prefer to freeload.

But then, that wouldn't be very nice of ME, either... over a barrel!!

Grrrrrr!!
