Hi Kay????, I have never grown anything from pip, but when I go to M****sons this morning, I am going to look for some of the 'exotic' fruits, so that I can retrieve the stones, and have a go.
I have never grown peanuts, but last year, they were selling pots of them in one of our local garden centres.

At the moment, it is living on my kitchen window sill, where I have been keeping my eye on it, as it grew. Will probably take it outdoors, now we are getting some heat.here. Which part of the world are you in.
I got loads of info off the internet about it, when I started it off.
Best Wishes to you both

Hi Julia,

Well done, particularly in your climate. Now guard it against frost. Take it inside on cold frosty days and protect it from sunburn when you first put it outside again.

We always have one in the garden. The one OH is growing now is in a large tub but it will grow in a much smaller pot. It can take up to two years to produce fruit.

If you google growing pineapples there is lots of information.

Morning All. Just thought I'd tell you all of something, of which I am rather proud
I have successfully 'grown' a pineapple from the top cut off of a fresh one from last year. It now has as many leaves on it, as you would get on one you would buy.
However, no fruit on it yet. LOLOL
Just prooved to myself, that I could do it.
Have a good day, whatever you are doing.
