It now seems to be impossible to copy from one tree to another or am I being daft and havenent found the correct way of doing it yet!!

Can anyone help?

Hi Lee,

I'm very new to GR but the clipboard works for me...

First I select the person and click on 'copy' to put that person on my clipboard. Then I create & select a new relative and click 'clipboard' to show the names of the people on my clipboard and then click on the person I want to paste to the new record. When I do that a list of fields appears, with the new relation's fields (empty) on the left and the clipboard relation's fields on the right. I make sure all the tick-boxes down the middle are ticked and then click on 'Save'.

The only problem I've found is that the Notes are not copied across.

Also, it doesn't seem to work across browser windows or tabs; I have to switch back & forth between trees all the time.

I use Internet Explorer 8. If you're having problems and you're not using IE8 maybe that would be worth a try?

Regards
Ian
