It has been said that everyone across the world can trace a 7 person connection back to a person the know.

I think it was in newspaper.

I work in a big organisation and deal daily with the public and it is amazing once you start talking to people how there is often a connection to a mutual person that is known to both parties.

Its probably more common that we think.

We used to love Westward Ho when the kids were little. When son was 18 and recuperating from a very serious road accident, I said one day, "We'll have to have a nice holiday when you get better. Where would you like to go". And despite the brain damage he suffered, his answer was Westward Ho. I was so dumbfounded that he could remember it, after all he had been through.

A friend of mine was down at Westward Ho! yesterday visiting someone in a care home. When he left her he sat in his car and phoned a Hotel in Somerset to book for tonight. She asked him where he was coming from.So he said Westward Ho!."Oh says the girl I grew up in Westward Ho!.My friend says "I am in Nelson Rd" Oh says the girl ,"my dad runs the Tackle Shop in Nelson Rd".My friend looks out of his car window to find he was sat outside the shop!!!!So he went in and said Hello to the Girls Dad and explained the conversation he had just had with his daughter.

my weirdest coincidence was this- me and a pal booked a 3 night break in Cornwall, including a ticket to Heligan and Eden project. As usual ,we got there early and parked up in the car park. After a while another car pulled up ,parked and we ended up chatting.I remarked on their Nottingham accent and told them id recently met up with my birth father and his family.I told them his name and it turned out the lady had been trying to trace my birth auntie for a school re union but had been unsuccessful. -i had her phone number on me,called her on my mobile and made two people very happy.
