Mondays used to be the worst day, end of the weekend of fun and frollics, bills to pay shopping washing usually ironing school unifors screaming at the kids lol no more at last time to wait to be a grandma and hopefully be there to help out as much as i can xx

Wash Monday
Iron Tuesday
Windows Wednesday.
Sweep and wash down Garden paths.Thursday.
Shopping Friday.
Gardening Saturday and Sunday,,

Too ordered for me.I am spontainious,do things when they need doing...

Incidently my birthday falls on a Wednesday and guess when I will be going out ?

Teresa I avoid Sat shopping often, mind I do live in a toursit area, but I still have to laugh at those that live here all year and still live like they used to.

'Monday isn't the 1st day of the week we don't work, so have your party on Wednesday that's your birthday, but *sighs* I wan't it at the weekend '

Me but why ? You are having a BBQ on your pitch providing music food booze etc have it on your birthady

but they stay up later at the weekend !!!

I worked weekends, shifts and nights for 25 years and did bar work at college. for 2 years before that.
Only done Mon-Fri for last 2 years so took a while to get used to it.
I still cover one w/e per month and the odd bank holiday.

I love the retired who do their shopping on Saturday mornings! When I retire I will avoid saturday morning shopping like the plague lol

ahhh the first day of the week for some.. never has been for me as I have always worked the weekend, so Monday could have been the start of my weekend etc etc ..
I do laff here that most people (here on site) are retired but still 'go out' on saturday ?? why you ain't going to work/church the next day on anyday so why Friday and Saturday as nights out ??

edit to say that is the site I live on not this site that I play on

I am at work mon thurs fri and leave at 6am so days go quick time I get back, get the tea etc.

No longer have the school run as my year 7 son walks to and from school with friend over the road and that makes my days off longer because I still get up to get him out for 8am.
