Hi Dawnie,
My sister had a barbeque on bank holiday Monday, to celebrate the life of my late brother in law, who died 3 years ago on May 4th, aged just 57.
Me and a friend went up to his grave (in a wood) before going to the barbeque, just to talk to him - and just as in life - we weren't particularly polite!!!
My nephew is turning into his father - it makes us laugh!

I'm sure your father and mother in law were having a bal!!

Hi Dawnie,

I am sure your f.i.l. knew you were thinking about him and he raised a glass at the party lol

I do like to think of our loved ones gone ahead and still living a life of some kind, only better than when they were here if they had health problems that restricted them at the end.

My late cousin's 67th birthday on Saturday, he died in 2008 and the 15th anniversary of my Mum's death Sunday. My brother has his 58th Birthday today and my cousin's greatgrandson was born on Friday so all sorts of thoughts this weekend. Oh and my late cousin's wife died last Wednesday. We have a wedding coming up in August of o.h.'s son and then they are expecting a baby in early November, what a year!

Hope you are coping, Dawnie, it must be lovely to see your o.h. becoming like his lovely Dad and tiddler too, bless her.
