I'm down at the Isle of Wight Festival when the whole thing kicks off.

Apparently there's going to be a field reserved for watching the games on the big screen. That'll give me something to do when the headline act - which is Paul McCartney - warbles his way through Mull of Kintyre.

At this point Sue I am staying positive and will say England. As for the squad not sure.

Well I went through a phase about ten years ago of trying to watch it - to see if any shorts fell down ......when I realised that wasnt going to happen I gave up. lol

Ive never understood footie - still dont - my colleagues love me though cos im happy to work through when the games are on. I only know if there has been a scoring goal when I hear shouts in the streets. 30 people or teams named already - goes over my head.

I've put a couple of quid on Spain at 4:1 and risked a few more on Argentina at 7:1. I reckon the Argentinians are in with a chance.
