I think she is marvelous, mate.

Been following her adventures on the net since she left Sydney.

One gutsy teenage Gold Coast kid, who had her knockers and various criticisms.

She lived her dream, and good on her.

I do admire our young people when they get up of there bums and use that old Aussie expression....."Av a go"

My own motto has always been......"Do not go where the path may lead,go instead where there is no path and leave a trail"

I drummed this into my own kids when they were young. Get out there and give it your best shot.
You will make mistakes.........but at least you tried.

Jessica’s historic solo around-the-world sailing trip is now just hours from completion with the talented teenager less than 40 nautical miles from home. Tens of thousands of well-wishers and fans including a host of VIPs, are expected to line Sydney Harbour this morning to greet the 16-year-old who has spent the last seven months at sea
