or am I having a Rip Van Winkle moment?

Trying to clarify a couple of points re message board use, I clicked on FAQs to remind myself of things and came upon this:

Message boards - how to use them
How do I add a thread to the message boards?
How do I reply to a thread?
How do I find my own threads or replies?
What are My Bookmarks?
How do I add a message to the Trying to Find board?


Each section has the appropriate answer.

I can't remember seeing all that before so hope someone can enlighten me - and, no doubt, someone will!!

It has changed since yesterday.
This was different;

How do I add a message to the Trying to Find board?To add a message to the Trying to Find board please use the following steps:

Click on Trying To Find, under the drop down list entitled Community. This can be found at the top of the page.

At the top of the page it says 'Add topic'. Please click on this and you can then add your request.

Click on Submit Post when you have finished.

"How do I add a message to the Trying to Find board?
You can add a message on our Trying to Find message board by going to the Community section of the site. Click on Trying to Find and then the 'add topic' link.

You can type your message and add it to the board. Any replies will be sent to your inbox on the site.

You can also add a message to the Trying to Find board by going to the Surname Summary section of the site."

So, yesterday it was telling folk that replies would be sent to their inbox????

I have had the feeling,in the past, that the help section does not show the same info. on a regular basis.So tomorrow it may be different again!

those "how to use the message boards" tips that Cynthia found


are identical to what we have all been posting for yonkers!


I think they just lifted the answers straight from the boards!!


Reason why I think that?

They're in plain English and can be understood!!!!!
