Sometimes it seems that they have taken a particular data base off line for a while, as if they are 'tweaking' it. Then it reappears.

Can view 1871 images but not 1881 at the moment

Do you use Ancestry.co.uk? Last week I had similar problems and it seemed that every time I tried to view records the site would switch over to Ancestry.com instead and would then say I needed a subscription to view the records.

I did contact Ancestry and to be honest I didn't understand their reply - I'll copy it below:-

Answer Title: Managing your Internet cache and cookies
Answer Link: http://ancestryuk.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/ancestryuk.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=483

Then, when you are redirected, scroll to the bottom of the page and select the box 'Ancestry.com'. Select 'United Kingdom' to be transferred back to Ancestry.co.uk.

Anyone else having problems viewing records today? I'm a fully paid up member with worldwide membership but when I try to view records it's asking me to subscribe. Have checked "my account" & it's showing as fully paid up.
Any suggestions anyone?
