I was cleaning my bedroom this morning and i could hear a vehicle engine ticking over outside my house. I went onto the landing and looked out my window to see a white pickup truck with 3 lads inside. The passenger door opened and out jumped a lad and he walked towards my house. I came down the stairs and peeked through my blinds on the window by the side of my front door to see the same lad walking back across my decking towards my front gate. I quickly opened my door and he jumped over my gate and ran to the truck. Out i went demanding that he gave me the tv coax that he had stolen back. He handed it back to me and not 1 of the 3 lads from the truck spoke. After my ranting and raving at them i told them that i was going to take their registration details and report them to the police.. Turns out the number plated were false ones. |

Someone stole a piece of jewellery, which was quite expensive, from a local charity shop here recently - also the Poppy Collection box from one local place |

There was a total break in of our garages a few years ago and we lost all the garden tools They had to squeeze past the car to get to the back of the garage without setting off the car alarm,to where the mower etc were hanging up even took the grass collection bag full of grass that i had put away quickly the previous evening when we had a big rainfall and they took my OH power tools & shopping bags too to take some of the goods away. We have a metal gate at the side of the garage that leads you in to the garden and i got my neighbour to weld onto it a plate so we could have a heavy duty padlock on it as i felt very vulnerable after the garage break in. We thought the door lock was ok as it was two partl ocking but they wrenched it open.. |
