	Dear All Hello Hope you are keeping well. Tomorrow is Ascension Day when churches celebrate Jesus's ascension to heaven. It was also on this day that he Jesus reassured his disciples that he would always be with them. Ascension Day is the 40th day after Easter Sunday and always falls on a Thursday and marks the end of Rogationtide. Rogationtide started with Rogation Sunday and ends on Ascension Day. This is a time when prayers are made for God's blessing on the land, livestock and crops in the hope of a good harvest. Sometimes, Ascension day services are transferred to the following Sunday. If you are travelling to a service, travel safely. Take gentle care Very best wishes xx
