HE SAT WATCHING HER,AS SHE STRUGGLED TO MOVE THE
LARGE FLOWER TUB,LAUGHING TO HIMSELF
CALLS HERSELF A GARDENER,,,,
NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS I WILL SEE TO THAT,,
NO TROPHYS FOR YOU GIRL,,
NO BEST OF SHOW,NO NUFIN...
SHE CAME CLOSER TO HIM SO CLOSE HE THOUGHT SHE COULD HEAR HIS HEARTBEAT THEN STRAINING TO STAND STRAIGHT SHE WALKED INDOORS,,HE LEANT SIDEWAYS
AS FAR AS HE DARED THE BACK DOOR CLOSED..
QUIETLY HE MOVED ROUND WITH HIS BACK AS CLOSE AS HE COULD TO THE SIDES OF THE SHED,,ALL THE NEW SHRUBS PLANTED,,
AFTER LUNCH SHE CAME OUT TO THE BACK GARDEN ,HER BLOOD CURDLING SCREAM BOUGHT ALL THE NEIBOURS OUT RUNNING TO HER HOUSE

OH NOT ANOTHER YEAR,,HER FRIEND CONSOLED HER
WE WILL CATCH THE S*D WE WILL ,,PROMISE YOU

HER HUSBAND CAME OUTSIDE

YOU GOT TO ADMIT HES FAST

FOR SUCH A TINY SQUIRREL

And here's me, feeding my several of the little dears their slivered almonds, bran muffins, pizza crust, whole-grain bread ends, stale tortillas, at my second-floor office window they climb the house to get to. Just had the pretty grey huddling in the window ledge away from the wretched Octoberish wind a few minutes ago, chowing down on the hardest piece of forgotten bran muffin you can imagine. Good for their teeth!

Yes, and still they eat my tulips. Well, not to say "eat". Ravage, massacre, seek and destroy. Although they may not have done any in yet this year ...


I saw that one coming a mile off, Dizzi. ;)
