May be a lesson here for the politicians lol

Sorted: All done with £100.00

It's a slow day in a little West Yorkshire town of Bradford. The sun is beating down, and the streets are deserted. Times are tough, everybody is in debt, and everybody lives on credit. On this particular day a rich tourist from down south is driving through town. He stops at the hotel and lays a £100 in cash on the desk saying he wants to inspect the rooms upstairs in order to pick one to spend the night.
As soon as the man walks upstairs, the owner grabs the bill and runs next door to pay his debt to the butcher.
The butcher takes the £100 and runs down the street to repay his debt to the pig farmer.
The pig farmer takes the £100 and heads off to pay his bill at the supplier of feed and fuel.
The guy at the Farmer's Co-op takes the £100 and runs to pay his debt to the local prostitute, who has also been facing hard times and has had to offer her "services" on credit.
The hooker rushes to the hotel and pays off her room bill with the hotel owner.
The hotel proprietor then places the £100 back on the counter so the rich traveller will not suspect anything.
At that moment the traveller comes down the stairs, picks up the £100, states that the rooms are not satisfactory, pockets the money, and leaves town.
No one produced anything. No one earned anything.
However, the whole town is now out of debt and now looks to the future with a lot more optimism.

Sounds fine in theory, but I know there is a catch somewhere. I will have to put on my thinking cap, or ask my political mates what the catch is.

Yes, I found Phil when I visited. Mind you I had to look hard as he was sitting behind a table and had his head down. Oh, you mean was he ok? Yes, not looking at me and doing a little bit of scratching but not so much as the other day. He had had a shower and had ointment put on to ease the itching.

One of the carers was shaving 3 of the men with a re-chargeable shaver (wiping the head of the shaver between men). I had been thinking of getting Phil a battery shaver so on the way home I looked in a couple of shops. The first one didnt have any (apart from shavers for women, being Mothers day here) but the other shop had several different brands. There was one half price for just under $40 but it takes 16 hours to charge and I dont think Phil liked that brand. The one I got cost 4 times as much. It is the same brand as his previous one which worked off the mains, but is re-chargeable and takes only 8 hours to charge. I thought it would be easier for the carers having one that they can use wherever he might be, instead of having to have him by a power point. I must put his name on it now.

Oh you are quick off the draw Huia, lol

Glad Phil's itching was less and he has ointment to try and stop the soreness.

Good idea about the shaver and hope it works well for him, bless him. I have to say I don't think I could cope with the work the carers do, they are saints.
