Dear All

Hello

Hope you are keeping well and doing okay.

Sunday 9 May is Rogation Sunday when traditionally
priests led processions round the fields, blessing crops and praying for good harvests.

A secondary purpose was to bless the main boundary markers of each parish, in towns as well as rural areas.

Nowadays, there can be small services at inner city farms, community gardens and allotments for everyone to participate in.

In many ways, these services reconnect us with how our
ancestors lived and worked from the land.

If you are going to a service, travel safely.
