Tree Access - sorted now thanks

Having a senior moment here - in "My Contacts" under the column "access to my tree" there are two options. There is an X with allow next to it and a tick with stop next to it.
Which is which? Trying to tell who I've given permission to & getting confused

The X with allow means you haven't given them access and the tick with stop means you have.

If you want to stop access you have to click stop.
