I am having trouble reading the writing on an 1841 census for Elizabeth Harrison in Peterborough.
I've looked at the other writing on the page and canot find any similarities. A fresh pair of eyes might be better than mine

the one birth year 1821?

CuriousFish

CuriousFish Report 8 May 2010 14:01

I think the birth year would be 1806 as in the census record she is 33. It looks like she is living in the same haouse as a Rector and ther ae a couple of other (what seem to be) unrelated names in the same house.
I found an entry that I think is hers in the free bdm vol15 page 699

Did she marry in around 1843 or 1845,?

CuriousFish

CuriousFish Report 8 May 2010 15:13

if she is the right one then she and her husband William Hall had a son, Thomas born 5 August 1846, (thomas is my Grt grt grandfather) so a marriage in 43 or 44 is possible.
I have found a potential marriage between Elizabeth Harrison and William Hall, both appearing on in 1844, Vol 15 page 699.
It was thought that her name was something like Hinson, but if it was read incirrectly then it could have been Harison
