So many things going on it can be hard to keep up with it all sometimes.

Anyone else notice in the prison scene...all the riot police walking in there with the shields up ...and Gene just strolling in front of them totally unprotected....just as if he KNEW he wouldn't or couldn't be hurt? x

The clown was Bolly' father, he attempted to blow them all up but Bolly got a way you can catch up on utube all the series are on there.

Thanks for that Hayley....I haven't really got a clue about what's going on sometimes but I love the series. Unfortunately I missed Life on Mars and some of the previous series. Never found out what the clown was all about.

Normally I give up if I haven't seen a series from start to finish, but I enjoy this too much.

Lesley when Sam was back in 1973 he kept trying to ring his station which was Hyde ????, when he came out of the coma the hospital room he was in had the same door number.

Sam wasnt shot Teresa he was run over by a car.

Bob I thought the very same thing, even in 1983 they could of contacted the whoever and had the electric turned off, isnt that what they do anyway with a hostage situation turn the water and electric off, in real life they wouldnt have waited till Viv was beaten to a pulp before they stormed the place ...however still great acting great writing love it , is that really Sam Tyler?

Thrilling stuff,but although dramatic, the rescue at the end is flawed.

strange that " thordy" had a plan of the intended execution........
strange that Gene knew enough to pick up a brick.....
strange that he knew that particular switch was the relevant one to destroy......
also totally wrong was the fact that when he found the switches the handle was already down, which means that it was Switched off..

also if the maintenance guys had done their job there would have been two screws to undo BEFORE being able to open the switchdoor, and

lastly if the switch was already OFF there was no need to destroy it, and it would've been the wrong one, anyway.......

It was back to the "sit on the edge of your seat" life on M ars type episode last night.

Agree Keats and Gene are good and evil.
I still am hanging to the theorie tha The staff are in an icu unit and Gene is a doctor trying to save them and Keats is death in the form of infection/heart problems etc.

Another link is the two police officers who died have been shot and so was Sam Tyler and Alex.

The policeman who is burned may be someone Gene tried to save(as a Dr in ICU in the past.

I missed Life on Mars so wasn't aware of Sam was ringing a number. Thanks for that,

I love the show as much for the why/who/where questions that we always find asking ourselves.

I missed chunks of tonight's episode, as I have grandkids sleeping over, and a certain young man had me running up and down stairs!

Do have to agree though, there is definately something fishy about Jim Keats!

What did he do, when he held Viv's head in his hands?

Hayley has put forward a good number of suggestions, worth considering!

Are there really only 2 episodes left?

Is this definately last series, or do we have another series to follow.? Hope there is more to follow.

Have you noticed that the 2 people that Jim Keats held as they were dying were police officers that had turned bad, does he take their soul ? Is he evil? Did Gene save Viv's soul? Is Chris next ? no life on mars moment for him he hasnt seen the stars.

The PO with shot face is it chris? Did Bolly realise whos collar number it was? Was that the number that Sam was always trying to ring in the very begining on life on mars, I still think Gene is trying to protect them.

Can't believe what happened tonight, Don't like Jim Keats. Has anyone else noticed that when Gene congratulations any of his team for something good that they have done, David Bowie's "Life on Mars" always plays. There's got to be a link there somewhere but can't put my finger on it.

I'm going to miss next week's episode as I will hopefully be in hospital (if the bed's available) so I will have to catch it on iPlayer once I come home. Can't beleive there are only 2 episodes left.
