If you can't walk well at the moment,why not go to Llandudno where the walking is easy along the prom with plenty of benches for a rest.You could take a trip to Caernarvon as there are plenty of coach trips.You don't say whether you are driving here or public transport.Your granddaughter would like Llandudno as well as there are lots of things to do.
...Just an idea...but it sounds a more child oriented place than Caernarvon!

Maybe the castle isn't such a good idea with your leg LOL.

How about you take her to Llanberis, which is not so far away, and take the train up Mt Snowdon. There's a cafe at the summit too, so you'll get a drink up there, and the best views you'll ever see in my opinion.

Mind you, I absolutely love the area anyway. There are some lovely eating places in Llanberis too.

Im off to Caernarfon this year with my 7yr old grand daughter .Can anyone recommend anywhere to visit while there or nice eating places .Unfortunately cant walk much as recovering from fractured leg.Thanks.
