As well as the mag 'Fabulous' (thank you, Island, for reminding me, that took me back) I also remember Rave mag; I couldn't afford this very often as it was 2/6

I dressed up as 'Bonnie' for the local disco (Bonnie and Clyde).

I looked lovely then, greasy hair and spots :-)

Now I have better skin, no spots and a more expensive hairdd but I'm OLD :-(

Crimplene trousers.... I had a cream pair, which I wore with a lime green top !

Also had a pale blue suit, - skirt and jacket of Crimplene, worn for 'best' when I went away to college.

jubilies (a frozen triagular drink) 1d fizzers we would put in water. White plastic boots cor did I nag for a pair. Chips in newspaper, being safe on the streets. My own portable record player which played 1 record at a time and you had to move the arm.
My Dad bought a sunbeam rapier convertable in the 60's (with 2 kids Mum wasn't happy, kids were) I also think of the Hillman Imp as being a 60's car.
