Jean we had a glimpse of sun yesterday for an hour and a flash of about 5 minutes this morning. warm but cloudy.

Oh Dear........ I could try a sun dance...... never mind, as long as it is warmer than here, and you are able to enjoy leisurely lunches outside.... you have plenty of time for the sun to come out to play.....

I am sooooo not jealous... it is cold here, although we have had a bit of sun....

Well, the sun came out at 4pm and before we knew it we had brilliant blue skies and red hot sun, in fact had to come in for a while as it was too hot!!!!!!

It is just starting to cool down here, its 8:31pm and its still 32C outside, reached 38 today, but very very windy.

I wondered how you were getting on Ann, now I know.

Hi Wendy, only just switched on, it was hot down in Puerto today, and very muggy walking back UP THE STEPS! Yes start of a tan and a few red bits that missed the cream!!!

Have you seen about Ryan air's cancelled flights to the Canaries because of the ash cloud over Spain.

I heard on the news that they had canceled flights to 19 spanish airports and I guess that includes us. I hope my friend arrives here on Tuesday she is flying with jet2.

OK What is the excuse for the weather now??? We have a load of washing in !!!!! It is like a swimming pool on the patio.

Its nice here on the Costa Blanca too. Washing on roof drying great.
Had a bbq yesterday afternoon - fell asleep . and was woken by large drops of rain and thunder rumbling. An hour or so later the sun came out again.

A town called Oliva - about 30 minutes from Denia. Nearer to Valencia than Alicante.
