Definitely take some sort of action against them. My dad was sent home from hospital and was told he had pulled a stomach muscle. It turned out it was a massive cyst on his liver.

You know what they say - Doctors bury their mistakes. Thank goodness your daughter wasn't one of those and that the mistake has been found out. They shouldn't be allowed to get away with it.

Definitely ........Take action McB.

That is shocking...!

They must never get away with that, good job your daughter had a good sensible caring mother.

Hope she gets to recover the trauma that the other hospital put her through !
Bless her ..

You need to take action and contact throught the first hospital their PALS unit ....if they dont have one get in touch with your local PCT and ask them to tell you where the PALS for the first hospital is based

AND REMEMBER mums know best!

Thankfully she was treated at the other hospital and is now on the mend. However I don't think you should let the first hospital get away with it. It's happening too much these days. I hope your girl continues to improve.

Last friday lunch my daughter went into agony with pain under her tummy, our GP shuts at 12.30 so dialled 999, ambulance will be about two hours we were told so i got her in the car & rushed her to our local A & E, after being there all afternoon / early eve & having blood / urine & physical examination she was told nothing wrong but a bit of virol cholic, take paracetamol,
Enduring the pain through the night & saturday till tea time she could take no more so i took her to another world famous hosi, jimmy saville should give you a clue, within two minuets they knew she had something seriously wrong, long story short they removed an EIGHT INCH tumour twisted round her ovaries,
She came home tonight & is poorly but on the mend,

Would you take action against the first hospital ?
