Rachel

Daff is correct only NOK can access these records, but if you are NOK, or have written permission from someone who is they are very strict about this, here is the link to where you apply for records.

Note they do take sometime to get them as long as six months and unless a person is the widow
/ widower of the person they cost £30-00

Hi there everyone, I hope this isn't a stupid question but does anyone know if it is possible to get the details of someone' National Service Record and if so, where is the best place to get it.

I would really appreciate an answer to this question. The person in question is dead but the records would be from the 1945 onwards. Would they be subject to the 100 years rule?

Many thanks
Rachel
