Our post has been up the wall for weeks.

Got my reminder from DVLC about my car tax renewal last week - tax ran out the end of March.

A friend received a letter informing her of an appointment 30 minutes before the said appointment - letter dated 2 weeks previously.

Hope the carpet cleaning firm dries the carpets.
We had one in once and took 4 days for them to dry.

I asked our postie why we sometimes get our post very late. He told me that some people pay for urgent delivery and those have to go out before the postman does his normal round. We live in a country district.
