Did someone ask WHO were Curved Air???????!!!!!!!!!
Say WHATTT??? LOL
:-)

Brilliant in their day.
They were one of the big bands in the days of 'Progressive Rock' (classic, folk, mixed with a lot of electronic sounds).
The lead singer was Sonja Kristina. Stewart Copeland was one time drummer before going to The Police.
The big single was A side 'Back Street Luv', with the B side "Everdance'...yes we had A sides and B sides in those days....and I've still got my copy! Another single was 'It Happened Today'.
Note the use of the spelling Luv - way ahead of its time in the early 70's!!!!!

Rumour has it the band recently(ish) reformed for a few one-offs, but I don't know if they are still going, and I don't know if all the original members made the line up.

K

P.S. Minnie Riperton was a bit of a one-hit wonder I think. She sang Loving You....la la la la la etc at the top of her voice (very high pitched) . Sorry can't think of any other way to describe her!!!
