My beautiful, black and white spotted Exchequer Leghorn cockerel was killed yesterday in my garden at about 5.30pm, daylight, defending his ladies from a fox. He hatched in my kitchen many years ago.

Enough said.

Morning, Liz.,

Our local Tories have made no secret about it! They seem to think we will flock to vote Tory around here if they promise to bring hunting back.

They're wrong.

I'm not a fluffy animal loving townie. I used to have a horse and, I'm ashamed to say, have been hunting. But the first time I saw a kill it put me off for life.

I was reading yesterday that David Cameron wants to reverse this ban so that foxes can be hunted again - kept that quiet, didn't he?

There are so many sneaky things each and every one of these politicians will or won't do, and it's so hard for the ordinary people to keep on top of everything.
I don't trust any of them, maybe a hung parliament would at least give more discussion on subjects than just going the way of one party's opinions.
