Thanks Ann and Purple. I am sure I am going to enjoy going back. My sister will be there in her caravan and my neice and her husband have booked an apartment in polperro for me to share with them. They are taking their dog and mine in the car plus luggage so I will be taking the coach ( nat Express) see dogs take presidence over humans. Joking apart I couldn't take the dogs on the bus and the trainfare is outrageous just can't afford it. I will try the local library as most have a ref section. Will let you know how I get on. Elaine. |

Is there anyone on here who lived in Marazion during ww2. I went to school in the village school while my dad was stationed at the big house. I am visiting for the first time in 66 years and would love to be in contact with someone who was there. We lodged with a Mrs Wilson and her daughters in a cottage with no electricity but we were made very welcome. Elaine. |
