on new strike action!! Is it me? Am I being naive here... but BA is in trouble, they have lost loads due to the Volcanic Ash thingy..... but the union is still ballotting for strike action.

Are they nuts??? I mean, there might not BE a BA soon.

I thought it was selfish and greedy for them to be contemplating strike action before now, with the recession, and so on, but with the huge losses BA face, they'll be lucky to have a job soon.

Yep it's madness.

Best paid workers in the sector going on strike...well done Unite....BA will be no more soon....Hope they've more than a vague idea where their local Job Centre Plus is x

Teresa, I know... I really thought it was a bad move before..... but now? well, they deserve to be pricing themselves out of work!

As Muffy said... hope they know where their nearest Job Centre is.

Also... some of them wouldn't come out on strike... and they will also lose their jobs... and the Unions are the ones who are trying to destroy BA, imo.

No BC.... really?????

Won't that mean that his son/daughter will also be his uncle/aunt, and her son will also be her great grandson/daughter?

That's just sick, they should be imprisoned for incest.

Oh yuk BC.

I wonder why the unions are determined to bring BA down, is it because Willy Walsh defied them with the last strike so it made no impact do you think?

And we are scheduled to fly with them in November!

I think it's just plain arrogance on the part of the union bosses that they think they can blackmail the company and the government with the threat of strikes.

It'll serve them right if their next move is claiming JSA

It looks like there might not be a great deal of truth in it... the story initially broke in a New Zealand local paper.... but the couple live in Orlando (I think) but definitely America.... and no other journalists have been able to chase them up... which is strange!!

MMMMMM

TW, it's about power, meglomania and control, isn't it? And I bet the Union boss will have a nice cushy number to leave with, while he sells the cabin crew down the river.
