Stray, if I can do it, then you can! Go on, give it another go!
I didnt have a clue where the print screen was on my keyboard, and when I found it, its a key I had never taken any notice of before.

Oh Boy I always knew what it meant but never how to do it. I have now studied my keyboard looking for said key, I have found it always wondered what that was for !

It is basically an image of what you actually see on your screen, like a photo in a way.

It's easy to do. If you can copy and paste you can do this no problem.

just press the 'Prnt Scrn' key, then open a new 'word' document, and paste it on there. There you have your screenshot.

The difference between that and a copy and paste is that it cannot be altered. What is written on a screenshot cannot be edited, unlike a straight copy and paste.

Screenshots are often used to illustrate a particular IT problem, when the helpdesk may as for a screenshot to be emailed to them, so they can see what's going on, or see the error messages for themselves etc.

its a screen shot of the exact page, so it cant be tampered with like a copy and paste can,
i have no idea how you do one tho lol xxx
