I had to look twice at the offer on some of the lightbulbs today.
Spiral energy-saving were £2 each or.........three for £2!!
I was a tad sceptical thinking I was reading it wrong, but got three and yep..........saving £4.
The stick energy-saving are £1 each and 3 for £1.
Think I will go back and stock up!

I get mine free too, take a bag of clothes to charity shop and They always give free energy saving light bulbs and 2 on a box.

They were donated from a big leccy company.

I dont like them at all. Not as bright as the old type bulb, and as for being eco-friendly, you have to be very careful how you dispose of them. I still have to find out how and where. I have 3 waiting for disposal. I wont be getting any more.

We also get them free from North West Gas but they were 8 for £1 in Poundland until recently. The wiring is quite old in our maisonette so we go through a lot but I have managed to build up quite a stock.

Hmmmmmmm lol - seems I have a lot to learn when it comes to bagging a bargain. Next time I spot one I will post here before I buy and wait to see where I can get a better deal.
But was a good job I got my bulbs today - have already had to use one!
