a baby wont cry for nothing,

its said..oh theres nothing wrong with him/her,,,,,,but to the baby who just wants to have the comfort of their mum/dad or other,,,,,,,its a big enough reason to wail their heads off..:}}}}}
dont belive in letting babies/children cry themselves to sleep when a cuddle does the trick.

I remember pacing up and down ,listening to the screams ,thinking I can't bare this any longer.Probably 2 minutes lol.It is so hard to hear your baby screaming its head off and be able to ignore.It is impossible.

Mine were attached to me, most of the time, lolol, I fashioned a sort of sling out of a sheet, with the older baby.... in Wales it used to be traditional to wrap your tiny baby up in a blanket around your body... my mum did it with my brothers and sisters, probably me, too.... with my second it was winter, so I used a car blanket to do the same thing...... it was lovely and soft, not a rough old thing!

They just seemed to drift into their own rooms afterwards.... they were never in our bed unless ill or sometimes on a Sunday morning for a lie-in, though.

Eldest was a terrible sleeper, she used to wake every 3 hours until she was 3 years old. As a baby once she was bottle fed OH used to walk the floor with her when she woke. Youngest was no trouble, he slept through from early on. One foster baby, a prem baby, fed every 2 hours, OH also used to walk the floor with him.

I could never leave a baby to cry - it was too uncomfortablel!! (breastfed)
Used to get very peed off with mothers who did leave theirs to cry - I would get engorged and suffer the feelings until my youngest was over 5 years old!
Eldest loved being awake at nightime - she took her first steps at midnight!
I used to have her in bed with me - it was a very cold house - at least when she was with me, I got some sleep!
Used to carry them around in a sling during the day.
