Hello Dizzi

I do look sometimes and you have now reminded me to look more frequently.

I have found and purchased some interesting out-of-print postcards and village history books from that source - one had reference to my great-grandfather who had the most dependants living in his cottage in 1851 census his village, his own children were born over a 20 year period1842-1862.

Happy hunting

What do you enter in the search box please?

I often look on the Bona Vacantia site to see who's died and check unusual names to see if they are in anyone's tree!!

I've not yet found any family documents there, but we did find a lovely ginger beer bottle and soda syphon bearing the family name of father-in-law's grandfather, who started the firm in Hampshire..
F in law (92) was delighted when we gave them to him, as he remembered helping his grandfather there.
