Hi Lisa, I have used the 1911.co.uk and paid to view the details: it's really worth it, I have found. I have looked up all my grandparents!!! It's not free anywhere except to search. |

If you can get to the National Archives at Kew, it is free to search there; also, I believe at the Mormons' Family History Centre in Hyde Park, London. |

I already subscribe to findmypast.co.uk and the 1911 census has taken my research into my rellies who moved from Scotland to England forward in leaps and bounds. |

You guys are forgeting the way that is completely, totally free. All you need is the cheek to just come on here and star a thread with "can anyone with access to the 1911census ....etc" |
