My Uncle Bill sadly succumbed to his battle with cancer on 11th April.
Today was his funeral. It was lovely.. It started with "St Louis Blues" by Jools Holland and Ruby Turner and ended with Da Doo Ron Ron.. Very fitting to the wonderful man that he was..

Sounds a lovely send off . The sad thing is that its the final thing our family can for us so its nice when family can get together,
My OH lost his younger cousin earlier in the month in the USA the only daugher of his mums sister who went to the USA in the 1920,s we did meet her in the 1960,s as a typical American bobby soxer. Time passes and family evolve with marriages etc but when a family member passes it very sad and makes you reflect how time passes
