I sent her a card and she rang me to thank me !well we are old friends cos i was around when she was young ,she is older than me tho I hasten to add, And we met several times when I watched her marry Himself and saw her Coronation We even allowed my big bro to march in the RAF contingency in part of the parade.
Charles was born on my Mums birthday ,we knew she did that for us !
Well we are S E Londoners and we know that her parents said they were one of us cos they got bombed too.
So good health YOUR MAJ may you have many more years cos sorry I dont rate your Charles that highly.

We here in Canada celebrate the Queen's birthday on May 24. Sometimes known as 2-4 weekend -- it's when you get a 2-4 (24-pack) of beer (or a few) to celebrate summer arriving. When I was a kid, we knew it as Fireworks Day. But officially ............... Victoria Day. ;)

It wasn't even really her birthday, I think.
