Hi does anyone have ancestry who could do a search for me?
Can you look for a marriage c1968 - Vivienne Hughes, probably in cheshire - perhaps flintshire or shropshire. Dont know the name of her husband.

Do you know if there is a middle initial? and whether that is the correct spelling of Vivienne?

Yes correct spelling and there is a middle intial "M". Her mother was marjorie so it may stand for that

i did a search (and not being a paying member i could only see the name and place) and there was a result for a vivienne m hughes in cheshire. Could you see when that was for me please. Clwyd is another possible place.

Hmm i a bit stuck with this one. I know she lived in Hong Kong now and has since 60s/70s im sure she married in the UK and being born in 1944 i expected it to be around 1968.

Thats the one, i just need to find out who she married. She lived in Cheshire so i guess she married somewhere round there

Bertett (and Tom) -- you're putting personal information here about a probably living person who doesn't know she's being talked about, and hasn't consented. There's a reason others are sending info by private message, which is very easy to do. The rules for this site provide that personal info about living people may not be posted here.

(Yes, the info is at Ancestry -- but it isn't accompanied by a discussion of the personal details of the person's life, and it isn't findable by google as discussions here may be.)

Maybe Tom if you have the info you need, you'd delete the thread. Otherwise, Bertett should delete the info in those posts.

Searches like these are really best done on the Trying to Find or similar board, since Chat is considered to be for everything but family history. Regular posters at TTF will be careful not to post info that the person whose info it is may consider private.
