My cat Poppy went walk about last Thursday. Didn't think too much about it for a couple of days. Started worrying on Saturday and searching about with no success. She came in late lat night, well the worse for wear. Really bad cut on hind leg (down to the bone) and her paw was really swollen, so big that it looked like it belonged to a dog. Knew it was infected because it smelled really bad. |

Aaw poor Poppy, I am sorry to hear that, so hard when pets are hurt. Did the vet offer any ideas as to what caused the injury. Sounds like she may have got it caught in a trap of some kind. I hope she improves and does OK. |

It does look like she has been caught in something. We live in a small town in a maisonette, no garden but a big decking balcony. Big plot of very overgrown land (jungle?) behind us belonging to the hotel at the rear. Loads of rubbish dumped by the hotel and previous tennants amongst the brambles etc. |
