Am I fuming. I feel ripped off. I bought 2 certificates through bmd.co.uk thinking if was the official site for certificates. I paid $65aud a couple of months ago for one and $53aud a week ago for another. I have since gone onto the GRO site and found out they are only about $15aud. I am relatively new at geneaology, so thought I would post letting other newbies know.
Cheers Terry

Oh dear Terry, but don't fume too much and for too long, at least you have found out before you get any more. Looking on the bright side....just look at how much you will be saving now that you have found the right place to buy them from :-)

Sadly there are a few companies that sell certs,

GRO.gov.uk is the only site you need to use £9.25 is the new pricing.

Look at it as a learning curve. Others have been caught like that. You won`t make that mistake again.

Terry, it is a mistake many of us made at the beginning, me included.
