I've been outside secaturing a shrub, and have had to come indoors, it is so cold, and turn the heating on. The rain has stopped for now, but it does not look promising.
So, off to B&Q for some paint charts for outdoors, and living in hope it warms up by the end of the week, so I can buy and use the paint. Wednesday is pensioners discount day. Youv'e still a way to go yet Muffy, before you qualifyLOLOL

all my lights are put up so it looks like a fair garden on a night
just the decking to re stain as we do everyyear
and my hanging baskets to do
the plants are doing nicely in the green houses
just a few more weeks and they will be big enough to go in

and they will be to high for Benson to dig out lol

Stray Babes, what courses are you looking for, and what will you get at the end.

Joy,my greenhouse is heaving with plants. I do not make my hanging baskets up until about next week, and let them have about 6 weeks to 'make root', before I put them out about the end of Mat, be. June. OH is hoping to jet-spray the patio this afternoon, and everything else is just about hunky dory. Have put up my laterns and coloured wasp jars in my Sambucca tree, and my windchimes are where ever there is a vacant space.
Kept falling about on the decking, well you do when you have had plenty of Vimto, so got rid of that.
I have a summerhouse, and when we bought it, it was fashionable to have them stained in Ceder. Now I fancy it painted an off white colour, with green trimmings, to brighten up the garden. Well I will have these ideas, won't I.

Ann, I like to look at other peoples gardens, but from the car as we travel by. Not very good at walking these days. But having said that, I picked up the new brochure from the garden centre the other day for Derbys & Notts NGS open gardens for charity. The Yellow Book, as it is refered to. I see that there are some new ones this year, and not too far away. I am looking forward to visiting these on Sunday afternoons, for a cuppa and piece of home made cake. Very satisfying pastime for a Sunday afternoon when I have been in my garden, and OH has been on the allotment. Then home to a light Sunday evening meal.

Take care all

Strange Julia, OH is jet spray cleaning our paths and patio as I speak. I hate it because it makes all the conservatory and front door etc windows filthy with splashes. He'll clean them but not immediately!

Julia there is a chill in the air here now and the sun disappeared this afternoon.

Ann in Glos, usually, when we have had a bad weather day like today, it brightens up by about 4.30, and I can get back out for another hour or so before preparing the evening meal.
Not so today. Although it stopped raining by lunchtime, it has remained cold, and never brightenened up. So, I am having some crocheting time instead.
Hope tomorrow is going to be better, as OH is out all day, which means I can crack on with things, without being interupted for silly nothings. Just heared the weather girl say that Wednesday is going to be good, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
PS. Perhaps you should have a visit to the garden centre, whilst you are abit immobile, for a 'Micro' book. Any excuse for a visit there, is good enough for me.
