Just curious, how do you pronounce Gedcom is it Jed-com Ged-com or some other way please?
Talking to my relatives about research I started wondering how to refer to Gedcom files.
Best wishes,
Mayfield.

GEDCOM, an acronym for GEnealogical Data COMmunication, is a de facto[1] specification for exchanging genealogical data between different genealogy software. GEDCOM was developed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as an aid to genealogical research.[2]

just mucking about , it could be Jeedcom !

Thanks for the quick replies folks, Jed or Jeed it is then.
Brings back embarrassing memories my wife won’t let me forget, of me insisting that Arundel Castle was pronounced A-run-dul!

Best wishes,
Mayfield.
