Family history post - don't faint!

I printed off al OH's maternal Grandpa's WW1 records last night, my MIL will be thrilled.
We always wondered why Caroline was errr..... shorter than average, we know now, her Gt. Grandpa was 5' 41/2"...lol

I noticed that with a lot of mine too Sue and yet my boys are well over 6ft...must have been the diet of the times.

Ooops sorry Muffy (we are talking men)..lol but Caroline isn't even that, she reckons 5' 2" but I reckon that's a stretch!!!!!!!

lol Gwyn, he was 17 yrs and 6 mths when he joined. There was a sticky on it saying that it was being referred before admittance. I guess they were doing some checking..
