In memory of the 96, their families and friends.

When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark

At the end of the storm
Is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark

Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown

Walk on walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

Thank-you for posting this. I used to know an ERS teacher from Sheffield and the Hillsborough disaster happened on her 18th birthday. She used to tell her classes exactly what it was like for the people of Sheffield.

Dear All

Hello

96 people died at Hillsborough stadium in Sheffield during the FA Cup semi-final between Nottingham Forest and Liverpool in 1989. At least 200 people were injured.

After a public inquiry, new safety measures were introduced at football grounds around Britain.

Relatives of the victims pressed for police officers in charge of safety at the Hillsborough ground to be prosecuted but only two faced criminal charges.

Remembering all those who were there that day, those who still suffer and for those who still need justice.

Take care all
Very sincere wishes
xx
