Have you tried the online Bishops Transcipts at familysearch.org? They parish registers are there for Sherburn 1813 - 1835.

Hi Karen

I m trying to find William Brooksbank who married a Ann Coatman He was born in 1821 Ann was a servant in Sherburn Hill Durham

They had 10 children which i have traced but cant find and other links for these 2

Hi Dorothy,
I think you will need to be a little more specific than just giving the surname Brooksbank.
Perhaps you could give a christian name or two, and a rough timespan. What or who is it you are searching for?
I have put the name Brooksbank into a search (1911 Census) and 1,204 records come up!!!

Hi does anyone out there have anyinfo on my family name of Brooksbank... probably in the NE of England, particularly Witton le wear, Sunderland or Durham.....many Thanks
