Musical films and musical stage shows, loved them all, first film I saw and favourite was Carousel. Stage shows Les Mis is my favourite, least favourites have been Phantom and Evita. Not seen Miss Saigon and would like to.

I saw Jess Conrad in Joseph at the Kings Theatre, Southsea and later Jason Donovan in the London production.

Half a Sixpence with Tommy Steele.... and Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

I saw Cats in Nottingham, also Buddy, and loved them both... and Oklahoma at the New Theatre in Cardiff years ago... I think it might have been in 1980. I would love to see Chess, amongst others. We are going to see Les Mis in July, but I don't real;ly fancy it much, strange, isn't it?

My fair Lady was my favourite but the first one I saw was South Pacific...can't remember if it was on TV or the pictures.

I saw Evita BC, wasn't David Essex by then ...but have him singing it on a single lol

In both cases for me it was Jesus Christ Superstar . just going back in time listening to the original recording brought out before the show...Ian Gillan singing ...which i then saw in London.

Stands the test of time for me :))
