Yes Soft as, the presenters on Master Chef are arrogant, and I would not touch have the food prepared on that programme. I did watch it to the end, just to see who won.
I do not like my food raw, nor do I like chocolate on my mains.
But this programme is more about ' What James and Alister Did Next ', and a look at how the other half live.
However, it is evident to me, and just my opinion, these people that have money, have appaul ng manners, and their ignorance is evident.
A very enjoyable programme, and the lads were great.

I had to stop watching Master Chef as i kept shouting at those two arrogant presenters.......taste is in the mouth of the beholder....not in the mouth of the chef. In all honesty, I would not touch half of the food that was being prepared.....raw meat....chocolate with the main course, for instance.

I never add any salt to my cooking, people have different tastes, and it can be added/left out by each individual.

Raw meat.......if this was served up to me at a "posh" restaurant it would go back rather sharpish.

Why do they insist on adding so many flavours, if I coose lamb, I want it to taste of lamb not be hidden by 21 spices.

Last night, who watched the programme Out Of The Frying Pan, on BBC2 at 9.00, last night. It was brilliant.
It is about the two guys, James and Alister, who became runners-up on Raymond Blanc's Restaurant, programme two years ago.
After spending some time working for Raymond, they have now branched out on their own, taking on commissions.
Last night, they had to do a dinner party for ten people, at the South of France home of David Bannatyne, of 'Dragons Den' fame.
They had to produce a six course dinner party for £600, (I think)
They produce Canapes, Starters of Sea Urchins, Flambed Sea Bass, Roast Beef, (Venison was out of season), Sticky Toffee Pudding, and an unusual flavoured Ice Cream, of their choice. They tried to make a Blue Cheese and Chutney Ice Cream, but unfortunately it did not set, so they put a couple of spoonfuls of it in the bottom of Champagne flutes, and put chopped pears ontop.
Apart from the pig ignorance of the host, it was a brilliant and entertaining programme.
Next week the are catering for a Shooting Party, and Alister has to act as Butler, while James does the cooking.
Highly recommended.
