Todays paper says your hormones change as you get older which makes you grumpier - so it's not your fault.
I'm quite happy to hide behind that.

Happy days

Hmmm! not sure if that is a response to the first or second part of my post. 'Tis too much for me to ponder....must go and lie down...( or should that be lay )?. All this thinking is far too much for me....Makes one grumpy don't you know? :-))))

Dear Susan

Hello

Oh, you mean me deleteing my reply on your thread?!

What happened was I was trying to edit, as I am not normally on that late.
However, I had a breakthrough in research and kept going.

On your post, I ended up deleting by mistake.
Couldn't say why as post was not there?

Anyways, don't be grumpy not even a little and behave!

Take care
Best wishes

People who post on my threads then delete immediately without saying why. :-)

But then I am sure they must have a good reason so I don't stay grumpy for too long :-))))

Not telling, it is too rude.... oh go on then.... people twisting other people's names into something nasty and obscene..... it is not funny any time, but even worse when the name belonged to someone you knew and loved....

Reading this thread and having that ruddy advert on the left with a clock and the hands going round and round is making me grumpy!!

Julie Report 29 Mar 2010 19:29

When people say they are going to apologise for accusing someone of something that they didn't do & they don't........does that ring any bells with anyone

Dear All

Hello my fellow grumpies!

Hope you are all well and doing okay.

Snap......DizzieLizzie and Jean.

I have been sent on some terrible time wasting courses.
They did not in any way give me new skills to apply or were even relevant.
And the course trainers were out of touch with reality!

Take care all
Very best wishes

Oh Dizzie, that does strike a bell! Remember one in particular with a physio sent to teach us how to lift properly! We had a particularly difficult 20 stone, iommobile woman in at the time and we asked him to come and demonsrate to us on her. He' didnt have the time'.

i hate inconsidereate drivers who think its thier god given right to have the right of way, and not be corteous,

they see a point and drive to it, and join a que at traffic lights blocking every road, cos they have to be somewhere quick,
and waiting at that lights is gona make sure they get their quicker than if they gave way to you and let you thru,
arrghhhhhhhhh,

Lol @ Kate! Know the feeling well. There was person who insisted on parking her car opposite our turning (which in turn is about 10m to the Main Road). I had mentioned to her the inadvisability of it, and that she was making it awkward for people to navigate around it – blind corner/at an angle etc etc. She had her ‘reasons’ and although I wasn’t going to get in to row about it, I did feel smug when it was ‘written off’ by a lorry which had turned into the road in the dark!

In mitigation to those that repeat information, Island. Sometimes it takes so long to find the records and post, someone has already done so. Although if we are talking hours rather than 30 mins or so, your point is valid.

Kate

Kate Report 27 Mar 2010 18:25

Oh, DET, I can't tell you how many times I've been in the car shouting, "You're not allowed to park within ten metres of a junction!" at stationary vehicles with no one inside them! But people do it anyway . . .

Deanna Report 27 Mar 2010 17:59

Well I married a well adjusted man who loved children and would do anything for anyone who needed help..... he is still that man, but he has turned into Victor Meldrew!
He hates ;
the adverts,
the programmes,
the clothes the young wear,
being ill,
being unable to do the things which he did so well,

look, I don't have the energy to do a full list, but you get the picture don't you?

ME? Well I hate the mornings.
and anything else which gets up my nose!!
So basically.... I too can be MRS MELDREW. And can agree with all the grumpy old women too.

Deanna X
