I want to reassure you that if the triplet utters an inappropriate word or phrase I will interrogate until I discover where it was heard. I will then take appropriate action if that person is an adult.

The triplet will then be subject to a dscussion about the modern day usage of said word or phrase, I will then verbally abuse the triplet thus ensuring that remark is never overhead in the school environment and their education record will not be blemished :-))

Everyone is entitled to their views and to air them, it is called a democracy.
Janey is as entitled to post on this thread as you or I. She has her opinion, you yours.
I am sorry but unless you have been targeted by private messages then you cannot call this disagreement cyber bulling.

I have just read this thread through and I agree with Clairejo. I don't see any Cyber Bullying. What I do see is two people with different opinions which they have every right to have. Janey has every right to her opinion the same as Elizabeth has....Its a Debate thread and as with all debates people will disagree. xx

also, to comment as defined by National Crime Prevention Council I have apparently been the 'victim' of bullying on here....but I choose not to be a 'victim'...so yah boo sucks to that :)

Elizabeth , I don't think this type of board is classed as 'instant messaging' ? it is certainly not the same as say 'messenger'...ie it is not 'private' to you or indeed to anyone else ....the threads, whoever posts them are open to all and all opinions are allowed unless they break GRs T & Cs...whether one agrees with them or not.

Alko I wasn't over keen myself, I loved the lessons...but hated PE , at which I was useless lol :( I wonder if the term 'swot' is ever used these days?

the main one being , as this is your thread you can delete it if you wish , whereas in a 'chat room' you could only delete your comments not the whole thread?

Yep, it's definitely a chat board and not a chat room. Anyone can post on any thread posted on any of the boards so long as they pay their membership fees first.

Hmmm.....see this story comes from the Daily Mail. I'd take the spin they've put on it with a large dollop of salt and wait to see what actually happens rather than what they say will happen.
